Using Vraic
Vraic is a marketplace for islanders based in Jersey, Channel Islands. You must be sixteen or over to hold an account, and each member may hold one account. You are responsible for everything listed, bought or messaged from it.

Listing a piece
Photographs must be your own and must show the piece as it is today. Describe wear honestly — marks, repairs, alterations and missing fastenings. Counterfeit goods, unwashed items and anything you do not own outright may not be cast into the tide.

Buying and bidding
A bid placed in The Auction House is a commitment. Lots close at low water and the highest bid at closing wins. Fixed-price purchases are binding on payment. Buyers cover any delivery cost agreed with the seller unless collection is arranged.

Payment and fees
Vraic charges the seller a flat commission on each completed sale. Funds are released to the seller once the buyer confirms receipt, or seventy-two hours after collection, whichever comes first.

Collection and delivery
Most pieces move by parish drop-off or by arrangement between islanders. Meet in a public place where you can. Off-island shipping is at the seller's discretion and at the buyer's cost.

Returns
Second-hand pieces are sold as described. If a piece arrives materially different from its listing, raise it within forty-eight hours of receipt and we will hold the funds while it is resolved.

Conduct
Keep messages civil and on-island. Harassment, off-platform payment requests and repeat no-shows lead to removal without notice or refund of fees.

Liability
Vraic connects buyers and sellers; we do not own or inspect the pieces listed. Our liability in any dispute is limited to the fees we took on that sale.

Changes
We may update these terms as the marketplace grows. Material changes are notified by email at least fourteen days before they take effect.

Law
These terms are governed by the law of Jersey and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Royal Court of Jersey.
